A Little about me
Hi, my name is Stephanie Pires. This is my fourth year as the 3rd grade teacher at St. John!
I grew up in Richmond, California with my wonderful parents and younger brother. I attended Catholic school from kindergarten to 12th grade. I got my BA in English Education with a Concentration in Literature from San Francisco State University. I worked as a fourth grade instructional assistant at St. Philip Neri School before I began working towards my teaching credential through CalState TEACH. While getting my credential, I worked as an instructional assistant and did my student teaching in an adorable kindergarten class at Corpus Christi Catholic School.
I am currently living in San Leandro. In my free time, I like to read fantasy and science fiction novels (especially Harry Potter), write poems and short stories, binge watch Netflix, and cheer on the Giants(!!!).
I am so excited to be a part of the St. John community! The students are so kind and eager to learn! It makes waking up so early an easy part of my day.
If you ever need to contact me, email me anytime at [email protected].
